Throughout the week, the contractor plans to finish the water main and storm sewer in Phase 4. While the underground utilities are getting installed, storm sewer boxes are currently being formed up and getting ready to pour near the railroad crossing. The surfacing and restoration around the railroad crossing will begin as soon as the storm sewer boxes are poured. This will include base course, concrete and asphalt surfacing, and seed. The contractor will continue to install the underdrain and storm sewer next week in Phase 4 which will be followed by base course, concrete surfacing, and asphalt pavement.
The contractor is estimating that they will pave Phase 4 on the 24th of June. Once the road is paved, the contractor will open Phase 4 to traffic and move into Phase 6 to continue construction.
