Winter is around the corner and the contractor is pushing to finish Phases 2, 3, and 5. Throughout the past week, concrete in Phase 3 has been in full swing as the concrete was set in place including the sidewalks, approaches, and driveways. The contractor is estimating the concrete to be in place throughout Phase 2 and 3 by the middle of next week. Once all of the concrete is in place, the contractor will add topsoil throughout the two phases. Phase 3 will be opened up to thru traffic once topsoil is added which is estimated to be complete early next week.
The concrete crew slipped the curb and gutter throughout Phase 5 on Wednesday November 1st. The concrete crew will continue to work in Phase 2, 3, and 5 throughout the upcoming weeks. Once fillets and valley gutters are in place in Phase 5, the contractor is going to asphalt throughout the entire phase which is estimated to be complete November 10th. Driveways, approaches, and sidewalk will be followed by the asphalt.
Mailboxes in Phase 2 will be getting reset early next week.
