The site conditions are not adequate to work in today due to the rain we received over the weekend. The forecast throughout the week shows a chance of rain which could further delay construction. Pending the weather, the contractor plans to work on the lateral storm sewers near the railroad tracks. The contractor plans to be done with these storm sewer laterals by the end of the week. Once the storm sewer laterals are in place, the underground utility crew will begin installing the watermain in Phase 4.
The contractor plans on having Phase 4 open to traffic in Early June. Once they open Phase 4 to traffic, the contractor will close Phase 6 to traffic.
